    Applications of the Laminator in Solar Panel Production

    The Laminator plays a crucial role in the Solar panel production line, ensuring the structural integrity and long-term performance of photovoltaic modules. It is primarily used for encapsulating solar cells by applying heat and pressure in a vacuum environment, bonding the layers together to create a durable and weather-resistant module. The machine is designed to achieve Perfect edge sealing, preventing moisture ingress and enhancing the lifespan of solar panels.

    One of the key advantages of this Laminator is its Precision temperature control, which ensures uniform heating across the entire laminate area, reducing the risk of defects such as air bubbles or delamination. This feature is critical in maintaining high-quality production standards and improving the efficiency of the Solar panel production line. Additionally, its Cost-effective solution design helps manufacturers optimize energy consumption and reduce production costs while maintaining superior output quality.


    Specifications Overview

    This Laminator is engineered for large-scale Solar panel production lines, featuring a laminate area of 2700mm x 5800mm, making it suitable for high-volume manufacturing. The machine dimensions are 18000×3540×1780mm, with a total weight of 23T, ensuring stability during operation.

    Powered by a 380V 3-phase/4-wire electrical system, the Laminator operates with a peak power of 80kW and a working power of 30kW, providing an efficient and Cost-effective solution for industrial-scale applications. The machine supports both Automatic and Manual control modes, allowing flexibility in operation.

    To maintain optimal performance, the system integrates a PID-controlled Precision temperature control mechanism, with a temperature uniformity of ±1.5℃ and an advanced multi-point regulation system. The heating process is managed through SD320 Heat by oil, ensuring stable heat distribution. The working temperature ranges from 100℃ to 160℃, with Controllable temperature precise to within ±0.8℃ at the regulated setpoint, ensuring the highest lamination quality.

    The vacuum system features an Ultimate vacuum level of 20 Pa, with a Pumping speed of 70L/S and an adjustable Air discharge speed of 0–50L/S. A high-performance compressed air system operates at a pressure range of 0.5–0.8MPa, contributing to Perfect edge sealing by eliminating trapped air and ensuring uniform lamination pressure. The Laminator also supports a Max. Laminate Thickness of 28mm and a lamination cycle time of approximately 20 minutes, with a vacuum pumping time of 5–7 minutes.

    Its robust Equipment configuration includes a loading system, laminating system, unloading system, vacuum pump, and heating system, all working seamlessly to enhance efficiency in the Solar panel production line.
